Moshe Ornstein is a genitourinary medical oncologist at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. He learned in the Yeshiva of Philadelphia and the Mir Yeshiva in Yerushalayim. He then studied Business and Biology at Lander College for Men/Beis Medrash L’Talmud. He received his M.A. in Biotechnology from Columbia University and his M.D. from Stony Brook University. He subsequently completed his medical training at the Cleveland Clinic, where he currently serves on faculty as a medical oncologist, cancer researcher, and mentor. Dr. Ornstein has authored or co-authored over 150 articles, abstracts, and book chapters. He has been awarded extensive funding for clinical trials and scientific research.
In addition to his clinical and research responsibilities, he is also a night seder maggid shiur at Yeshiva High School of Cleveland and teaches halachah at the Chaviva High School for Girls in Cleveland.
He is the author of the sefer, Cancer in Halachah (exp: January 2024; Israel Bookshop Publications).
